Forensic Accountants

Forensic accountants specialize in divorce. They are typically hired to determine current and future value of assets where reasonable people could disagree on their value. They are also hired to trace income and assets to determine whether:

• Income is available to pay child support or alimony;
• What assets are available to either or both spouses;
• Hidden income or assets.
